Thanks Sara and leonie. I am trying to grow more and more flowers on the plot to encourage buzzy things, and to look good. I love letting one plant of each veg run to seed so I can see what the flowers look like. Alliums are a fave at the moment, I love to squeeze the pompom flower heads as I pass by, and the insects adore them!
My theory is, men love gardening because it is as close as they can get to childbirth...without the obvious pain! They aquire their little seed, they place it in a soft bed of John Innes, they talk to it,water and feed it,and then birth,a seedling!

I love the unusual shaped flowers and the colours are nice and bright.

As always your allotment is looking beautiful and very productive. It's lovely to see all the photos.
